Aurora’s
participation in the digital print media market began in 2002 as
a “behind the scenes” manufacturer of base coated canvas
for giclee printing. With the growing popularity of textiles in
the digital print markets and the need for fabric treatments to
improve print quality, the fit for Aurora was natural. While the
ink jet base canvas business remains an important segment of our
print media business, we are now applying our core competency of
adding value to fabrics through coatings and other treatments to
create a line of fabric based media for solvent and UV cure digital
printing.
