| Aurora Specialty
Textiles Group, Inc. evolved from its roots as a cotton-spinning mill
in Aurora, Illinois, to a multi-plant textile processing company,
with a breadth of manufacturing and technical capabilities as deep
as any found in the textile industry today. Fabric bleaching and preparation
were the building blocks from which Aurora has grown. This background
gave Aurora the foundation it needed to expand into fabric dyeing
and coating.
In the late 1990’s a second manufacturing site was purchased in Travelers Rest, SC. This acquisition enabled Aurora to offer more extensive wide width dyeing capabilities and complementary finishing technologies. Today Aurora has four main core capabilities – fabric preparation, coating, dyeing, and technical finishing –allowing us to be a one-stop shop for our customers. |
